Let's be Introduced to the legendary Shree Ambika Gram Kelavani Mandal (Education Society) Gadat. The roots of which had been planted by a legendary group of far-sighted farmers and donners 1945 to provide sound and inexpensive education to the rural children around Gandevi Taluka.Dist : Navsari , Gujarat.

We have been relishing the fruits of the planation (Plantation) for years in the form of professionals like engineers, chartered accountants and professors. Many of our past students occupy key position in various organisations in India and abroad as well.

Not only keeping the tradition live but also keeping the present age of IT in mind, we have been expanding our activities which will bring fruitfulness in the form of cent percent "Literary Awareness" in the surrounding areas in the years to come.

History

The Ambika High School, established in 1945 A.D., will complete its sixty Six years in 2011 A.D. The time past so far was full of problems, struggles and challenges. But the respective managements have successfully stood the test of time. With their wisdom and foresight, they have accepted all the challenges and planned accordingly to continue the process of development. The all round development of our school is the result of this active awareness. Today we have a full-fledged school from nursery to std-XII. Our school is situated in Rahej pocket area. We have both common and science streams at the higher secondary level. We are also imparting computer education.

  • Ours school is situated in the Rahej tribal pocket area in Gandevi taluka.

  • The extra curricular activities are being arranged periodically like Sports, Music, Quiz, Debate, Yoga-meditation, karate etc. enables students to be disciplined and to become aware of their potentials and learn to compete.

  • All the students are given free test-books from student aid fund. Poor and needy students are given free uniforms as well as freeships

  • We give scholarships to the poor students every year

  • We provide medical treatment to the needy students free of charge.

  • All the students from nursery to std. XII are covered under insurance plan.

  • We provide basic computer education.

  • Government aided advance gymnasium is developed for the betterment of student's health.

  • Keeping our concern for the betterment of environment in mind the Forest Department, Gujarat and Aranyak paryavaran kendra, Vegam have started planting Ayurvedic and common plants in our campus.

  • We have been achieving Best School Awards at Taluka level since year 1997 to 2006.

  • Gujarat Secondary and Higher secondary Board, Research section, Gandhinagar has selected 10 best schools of the Navsari district and ours is the one of schools to achieved the Best school award

  • CWEF, Canada assists the poor students who have lost their father, nearly 2,00,000/- every year.

  • There are facilities of computer hall and LCD projector and DTH in our school to enhance the quality of education.

  • The students from the tribal areas of Kaparada and Dharampur of valsad district avail of computer education at free of cost.
